To the morning we dance is a depiction of love equating to the balance found in two selves forming a connection that teaches both how to live within that balance. The balance reflects the inherent permanence within each other’s existences and how that balance teaches each counterpart to hold up their end. Not of the parts of the balance they want to hold, but what is naturally held for both souls. I used oil paints to communicate how long and intense every part of the intrinsic connection is.
The seahorses are a reflection of the intelligence nature as a whole holds, that we often give a lack of credit to. Seahorses dance every morning to reinforce their bond. To me, it showed the direct communication this species has through energy and how it practices this daily, almost routinely.
